There are several expansion packs available for The Settlers of Catan with all packs requiring ownership of the original Settlers of Catan game.

The game expansion packs generally add dimension to the game play and allow for two to four players.  The expansions allow you to connect to other players via sea routes as well as by land. The game is much more robust with the added dimensions provided by the Settlers of Catan Expansion Packs.
